The Halfway Caravan and Camping Park

The Halfway Caravan & Camping Park is a pretty, 2 acre, licensed touring site, located near the Dorset and Somerset border. The site overlooks a fishing lake and is surrounded by stunning countryside views and historic sites galore.

We can accommodate 20 caravans, 12 of which have electric hook up. And there\'s lots of room for tents. Onsite is a red brick shower and bathroom facility. Tokens for the shower can be obtained at check in. We welcome guests with well behaved children. Guests with friendly pets are also very welcome but must be considerate of other guests and the park.

We are located right next door to the handsome Halfway House Inn Country Lodge, which offers delicious fresh food, beers, ales and soft drinks. Guests of our park can fish for free at the Inn\'s fishing lake (upon availability). Please check with the Inn for registration & further fishing details.

Nearby lies the old Roman town of Lindinis, known today as Ilchester. Also a short drive away, the beautiful village of Montacute in which scenes from the feature films \'Sense & Sensibilty\' & \'The Libertine\' were shot. Montacute is also known as the village location for the BBC series \'To The Manor Born\'.

Close by market town Yeovil, provides 24 hour grocery shopping, cinemas, swimming, bowling and some great nightlife.
Also very close by is the charming Brimsmore Farm Shop, who carry everything a caravan and camper could need.
