Our campsite is an ideal touring base for Hampshire, Berkshire and the South, and is easily reached from major motorways (M3 and M4). For guests travelling to or from Europe, we are a convenient distance from the Channel ports. The historic cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, Windsor Castle, and the University town of Oxford are within an hour’s drive. The nearby location of the New Forest, South coast, Newbury and Windsor racecourses and many visitor attractions including Legoland, provide our guests with a superb variety of activities. The pitches are attractively situated in woodland glades within the Country Park. Facilities are for touring caravans, motor caravans up to 26’ and tents. Electricity is supplied on caravan and motor caravan pitches, but is not supplied to the tent pitches. Ladies’ and Gents’ washing facilities comprise toilets, showers, hot and cold water, electric shaving points and hair dryers.

WELCOME to California Chalet & Touring Park in Berkshire, where every effort is made to ensure an enjoyable stay in our beautiful woodland setting. The site of the Park was originally part of Windsor Forest and was a favourite hunting ground of the Tudors. In time it became a popular leisure centre known throughout the South of the UK as 'California in England', eventually being designated by the Countryside Commission as a Country Park In 1985 the 5-acre Chalet & Touring Park was privately purchased and is now a picturesque, quiet retreat for family holiday relaxation. Open from 1 February - 31 December, we are ideally situated for visiting such places as London, Oxford, the New Forest and the South Coast. We hope you will enjoy both looking around our site and visiting us soon.

Our family run Park is situated in the picturesque village of Hurley, alongside the River Thames, and with access to the Thames Path. We are an ideal location for visiting Legoland® Windsor, Henley-on-Thames, Oxford & London and are proud holders of the Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award. We welcome tourers, tents & motorhomes and have electric, multi-service and hard standing pitches available. Fully serviced Caravan Holiday Homes and ReadyTents are available for hire Free showers including family shower rooms, disabled facilities, launderette, shop, nature trail, riverside picnic grounds, slipway, fishing in season, WiFi. You can purchase discounted tickets for Legoland® Windsor, Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventure & Zoo at our Touring Park Reception. Our customers can also take advantage of a number of discounts at local restaurants and attractions. We have been voted in the Top 100 Parks in the UK for 2010 by readers of Practical Caravan Magazine.
