This picturesque and tranquil site is set in the rural Grounds of the Stanford Hall Estate. The site offers 123 pitches, all on grass and all with electric hook-up. A limited number of seasonal pitches are available and rallies can be catered for. There is a small site shop selling basic necessities such as bottled gas, chemicals, groceries, bread, milk and ice cream. Newspapers can be ordered daily. Dogs are welcome and a designated dog walk has been established through part of the Estate woodland. We would ask however, that they are kept on a lead whilst on the main site. Visitors staying on the site (for two nights or more) have free admission to the Grounds Only of Stanford Hall during our normal opening times except on certain Event days. Details of these days can be found at the site office. There is a small charge for admission to the House. In addition to this, course fishing is available free of charge on the River Avon within the main Grounds of the Hall. There are no toilet or shower facilities on site which means each unit must be totally self-contained. There are four conveniently placed service points. We can therefore only permit Caravans and Motor Homes, sorry no tents. The site is ideally situated just one mile from the M1 at junction 19 (to and from the North only), the A14, and the M6 at the M1 (N)/A14 exit. It is the perfect stop-off point when travelling from North to South or East to West.

Established 20 years, Ingles Hill Caravan Park is situated on a 200 acre working farm in the heart of the New National Forest. The 1/3 acre site is caravan club certificated, landscaped to garden standards, and overlooks 'Ivanhoe's valley'. Prestop Park provides 130 acres of newly planted woodland, ideal for dog walking.

As well as offering a high quality fisheries, Whetstone Gorse also has a excellent Caravan Site. Our Caravan Site is very popular with anglers and others. The nearest shops and Post Office are 2 miles away in the villages of Husbands Bosworth and Welford. Pets are most welcome, for a small charge.

The site is rather unique due to its situation built on an old disused railway line. The driveway itself-runs along the embankment giving an elevated view of beautiful countryside. A pool at the side of the road indicates the site entrance. The main feature is a large three arch railway bridge harbouring the kitchen and Tearooms. The Camping/Caravan field is well secluded with high banks to the east and west of the vans, creating a natural windbreak. There are facilities for 16 vans on hook-up’s. The toilets with wash hand basin & small laundry room are situated under the bridge arches. There are disposal facilities with tap and two other stand pipes for drinking water. A continental shower is also available. There is a picnic area to the south of the bridge (where you can enjoy breakfasts or teas) set between high fossilised banks showing 400,000,000 years of evolution in the strata, many fossils can be seen protruding. On the Camping/Caravan field there is a spring pool, which itself is a haven for wildlife including Great Crested Newts. Although the pool is small it gives excellent fishing.
