Private family showerooms for hire. Laundry facilities with washer, tumble dryer, spin dryer & iron. Childrens Adventure Play area with safety surface. The Village SHOP & PUB are 5 mins level walk away. It is 10 minutes walk through our own fields & Nature Reserve to the BEACH ( sandy areas, interesting rock pools, scaurs and renowned fossiling)& ROBIN HOODS BAY.

Approach Farm Caravan Site is a family owned and run site for caravans, motorhomes and tents which we, Margaret & Peter Gowthorpe, have operated for over 20 years. The site offers 16 electric pitches on a 1.25 acre grass site on our working arable and beef farm. The site is peaceful, relaxing and quiet, the grass is mown weekly and is like your lawn! The site is just 7 miles to the south of York, 0.5 mile north of Riccall village which offers shops, pubs and restaurants. There is a bus stop 500m from the site with regular buses into York. York city centre is 25 minutes (non rush hour), the Yorkshire Coast and Moors are an hour. Dogs are welcome - on a lead - and visitors are most welcome to walk on the farm tracks to exercise dogs or themselves. The Sustrans York-Selby cycle track can be joined at Riccall for a very pleasant, safe and flat cycle or walk into York. Whilst we don't have a shower block we do have a toilet for visitors use. The shower block is being planned, hopefully for 2008. Our site is approved and listed by The Caravan Club and The Caravan and Camping Club.

Hillside Caravan Park is a new purpose built site on 5 acres offering the highest level of touring comfort. The site is situated to the east of Knayton village, Thirsk, North Yorkshire. Pitches are all gravel hardstanding with a bollard equipped with services. We also have a luxury heated amenity block. Our site offers an ideal countryside location to relax, explore the beautiful Yorkshire moors and dales and take in some of the numerous places of interest, historic towns and markets. Pets and children are most welcome on our site; we have a large playing field for games etc.

Manor House Farm is set within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, nestling on the cliffs between Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. Located minutes from the Cleveland Way and easily accessible from the main A171 Scarborough to Whitby road. The village of Hawsker is situated on the disused railway line that once ran from Whitby to Robin Hoods Bay, now ideal for walking, cycling or horse riding. The local pub is the focal point of the village and has an excellent reputation for tasty, wholesome food.
